Way less salt and garbage fillers than the packets you'll find in the grocery store. Also, less expensive. I keep this mixture in a jar by the spice rack and make ranch dressing or season potatoes with this spice mix before baking them.

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp parsley
  • 2 Tbsp dill
  • 1 Tbsp onion powder
  • 2 Tbsp dried chives
  • 1 tsp dried onion bits
  • 2 Tbsp buttermilk powder ((optional))

I also use this to make my own Mexi Ranch Dressing for Fiesta (Tequila) Lime Chicken (Applebee's copycat.)
