Amazing, made from scratch chocolate sauce for your ice cream or to make chocolate milk with.

Ingredients

  • 1/2cupcocoa
  • 1 1/2cupssugar
  • fewgrainssalt
  • 1cupwater
  • 2tspvanilla

Method

  1. Mix cocoa, sugar, salt and water in a saucepan.
  2. Cook over low heat and stir until sugar is dissolved.
  3. Bring to a boil 3 minutes (Fern says 5 min)
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Add vanilla.
  6. Pour into sterilized jar and seal.

Recipe Notes

I suspect this could keep in the fridge about 6 months, if it lasts that long in your house.
