
Shortbread (The Best)

Ingredients
- 1cupbutter
- 1/2cupbrown sugar
- 1tspvanilla
- 1/4tspsalt
- 1 1/2cupsflour
- 1/2cupcornstarch
Method
- Cream together sugar, butter and vanilla in a large bowl (Fern does in her mix master.)
- Mix dry ingredients together in a separate bowl.
- Slowly mix dry ingredients with other ingredients.
- Knead a bit.
- Roll out to 1/4" thick (NO thinner) or put it in balls.
- Bake at 350°F oven for about 12 minutes. If in balls or if you used a large cookie cutter, bake 14 minutes.
